Not many know, but there’s a trek-worthy hill in Mulund, that’s one of the most underrated ones in the city. The Mumbai suburb has a lot of things to do and going up the Yogi Hill can be one of them. The starting point is Cyprus, which is the end of Sanjay Gandhi National Park at Central. There are two routes for you to begin your trek from. One is from the Sardar Tara Singh Park, and another one is a long-cut ahead that joins the trek. The path is a little tricky and along the way, you will spot natural wildlife. From pretty flowers to snails to odd-looking insects, you’d find them all there. There is a temple on the way, a flat plateau, and then, of course, the top. The way up to the hill is not only from the Mulund side, but there is one from the Borivali side too. The view from the top is too mesmerizing and you wouldn’t be able to digest the fact that this is mid-city. The Tulsi Lake’s view is breathtaking from the top and you can see SNGP’s dense forest spread over a huge area too. So, if you are a sucker for green space, like us, and wish to soak in Vitamin green, head to Yogi Hills and do so.
